Back Pain Treatment - CWPCLV

At every point in our daily lives, we are susceptible to sudden injury or harm. It could be due to several reasons – right from sleeping in the wrong posture, to being subjected to a sudden forceful impact, or something as severe as an accident. In most of the cases, the first part that is likely to get affected is the back. Back pain may also be caused due to long-term straining of back muscles. In any case, it is always better to seek medical help before the situation escalates to unbearable levels. However, most people have one concern – where to find a good doctor.

Your woes are about to end, as The Center Of Wellness And Pain Care Of Las Vegas has the perfect solutions for all your back pain-related problems. With an array of treatments ranging from therapies to minimally invasive surgeries, we ensure that our patients leave happily once their treatment is completed. It is not only about targeting the problem and figuring out a solution, but also about the patient’s overall wellness and good health.

The Center has multiple diagnostic procedures to begin with the process of back pain treatment. For example, the Discography process, also called as Discogram, is used to find out if the back pain caused is due to one or more spinal discs. In this process, the physician pressurizes the suspect discs by injecting a sterile liquid to induce pain. Through the results of this procedure, the doctor can properly plan a course of treatment.

Once the problematic area or the condition is identified through diagnostic processes, there is a wide variety of treatments that a patient can go for. If the patient opts for minimally invasive surgical processes, the most effective one that they can go for is vertebroplasty. Vertebroplasty is a minimally invasive surgery which is conducted in case of spine fractures. A needle is inserted into the damaged vertebra through the patient’s back. Once the needle’s outlet is at the right spot, the cavity in the vertebra is filled with bone cement, which is then left to dry. In some cases, more than one bone cement injection may be required. Once the cavity is properly filled, the needle is then removed, and the opening on the back is closed.

In case the pain is not due to a severe damage, the patient can go for a procedure called as Spinal Cord Stimulator Implant. Since it is believed that electrical pulses prevent pain signals from being received by the brain, this non-surgical procedure uses electrical impulses to relieve chronic pain of the back, arms, and legs.

No matter how trivial the pain is, it is crucial for the patient to seek back pain treatment immediately. For a consultation, book an appointment with us now. In case of emergencies, contact 911.
